About the Company

Revise Recruitment has partnered with the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) to recruit an experienced Events Manager for a 12-month maternity leave contract.

MFAA is the national membership organisation for mortgage and finance brokers, mortgage managers, aggregators and other industry stakeholders. Its purpose is to empower members to prosper and thrive, ensuring Australians benefit from competition and choice.

You'll also lead two direct reports while remaining hands-on across event planning and delivery. Interstate travel will be required for key events.

About the Person

You'll be an experienced corporate Events Manager who genuinely enjoys events and takes pride in delivering them well.

You'll ideally come from a peak body, membership association, professional services organisation or similar corporate workplace, with experience delivering professional events for members, clients or industry stakeholders.

You'll be organised, personable and detail-focused, with the confidence to build strong relationships with speakers, sponsors, suppliers and senior stakeholders. You'll enjoy working as part of a team, be comfortable leading and supporting others, and like being close to the detail and delivery.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who cares about the attendee experience and enjoys seeing a well-planned event come together successfully.
