Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experienced People Specialist / Senior People Specialist to join our National Client's Perth team for a leading global organisation based in Canning Vale. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to take ownership of the people function for a local business while partnering with a broader ANZ People team.

About the Opportunity
n
Initially offered on a Full-time Casual basis paying $83 per hour + Super, this position has the potential to transition to a permanent role after approximately six months, with a salary of $130,000 + Superannuation.
n
As the primary HR contact for the Western Australian business, you will provide trusted, practical HR advice and day-to-day support to managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
n
Working closely with the Senior People Business Partner, ANZ,
you will contribute to a broad range of people initiatives including employee relations, talent management, organisational development, performance management and change.
n
You will also collaborate with the broader ANZ People team on regional projects, helping drive consistency, continuous improvement and best-practice people solutions.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Act as the primary HR partner for the Perth business, providing trusted advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of people matters.
n
- Partner with leaders on employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and change initiatives.
n
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, talent development, succession planning and retention.
n
- Coach and support people leaders on performance management, employee development, workplace policies and people-related decisions.
n
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to deliver effective, compliant and high-quality recruitment outcomes.
n
- Help build a high-performance culture through effective performance, talent and leadership development practices.
n
- Lead or contribute to local and regional HR projects, including organisational development and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Ensure efficient and compliant HR operations, including employee documentation, HRIS administration and employee lifecycle transactions.
n
- Coordinate payroll inputs and work closely with payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
n
- Maintain accurate employee data and provide people reporting, insights and support for compliance and governance requirements.
n
- Partner with HR colleagues,
People Technology and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.
n
- Support the implementation of HR policies, programs and initiatives aligned with the organisation's people strategy and business objectives.
n

About You
n
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who can operate confidently and independently in a fast-paced business environment.
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
- At least 4 years' experience in an HR Generalist / People Partner role, preferably within a multinational or matrix organisation.
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and statutory requirements.
n
- Essential experience interpreting Modern Awards.
n
- Experience with HRIS platforms; SAP SuccessFactors or Workday experience is highly desirable.
n
- Experience with payroll administration or payroll vendor management, such as ADP, is advantageous.
n
- Strong employee relations and performance management experience.
n
- The ability to work independently, solve problems and make sound, practical HR decisions.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility with leaders at all levels.
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
n
- Experience working within a matrix reporting environment.
n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience with Power BI or HR analytics tools is advantageous.
n
n
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
n
