The Salesforce ANZ Global Public Sector marketing team is looking for a Marketing Specialist who is innovative, dynamic, creative, and self-starting to help execute our strategy in ANZ. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating, delivering, and executing campaigns and programs to drive outstanding pipeline and revenue results. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping to shape the Public Sector narrative, as well as helping Government, Education, Nonprofit and Health customers to unify their customer experience and deliver on their mission with high impact, across the different jurisdictions.
This person will be responsible for brand building, awareness and demand generation for this key market segment, taking strategic direction from the Senior Director, Marketing ANZ Global Public Sector. The candidate will be experienced in B2B marketing and a wide range of go-to-market tactics. They will hold previous experience working in roles across the tech industry, with an industry focus as an advantage.
The opportunity requires a collaborative, dynamic, resilient, positive and organised marketing professional with a proven history of success in coordinating integrated marketing programs and stakeholder management. The role includes hands-on execution with the day-to-day coordination and program management of all aspects of initiatives and campaigns.
Proven experience in programmatic demand generation through integrated campaigns is critical. The role requires a good working knowledge of managing and delivering face-to-face events, engaging creative teams and external agencies to effectively execute projects on time and on budget. Copy writing, digital marketing, thought leadership and content creation.
It also requires proficiency in the use of AI tools. Examples of great customer experience will be highly regarded where impact to the acceleration of pipeline can be demonstrated.
The candidate needs excellent planning and organisational skills,
as well as the ability to liaise effectively with key sales and strategy stakeholders and be accountable for results. Analytical capability is key for understanding and managing demand generation, forecasting, budgeting, lead flow, and the many moving parts involved in running an effective marketing machine.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and execution of the end-to-end marketing program and campaign planning for Public Sector marketing (program planning, campaign management, tactical execution, promotions, and collaboration with executive, alliance and operational stakeholders).
- Assist with the development and delivery of breakthrough ideas and innovative campaigns. This requires collaboration with other marketing specialists to deliver experiments and innovation in our ANZ market strategy for net-new business via all relevant mediums and channels (e.g. webinars, 3rd party industry based associations, digital, influencers, PR/media, social media, live events, sales programs etc).
- Work with the industry's most respected sales team and leaders to support the execution of collaborative programs that help find new buyers and cross-sell into existing accounts. Publish and monitor frequent campaign scorecards to share results, learnings and best practices with key stakeholders; adjust the plans and priorities to stay focused on pipe generation targets.
- Have the capability to orchestrate, negotiate, prioritise and manage project deliverables with other members of the marketing and communications organisation as needed (including digital, PR, creative, social, communications, events, industry and segment marketing, customer marketing and marketing operations).
- Coordinate enablement of sales development and sales programs/telemarketing resources working with Go-to-Market industry leads.
- Effectively collaborate and manage agencies to help scale delivery and impact of programs across digital, creative and face-to-face events.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Be a highly professional team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities.
- Bachelors degree in Commerce/Business/Marketing/Communications.
- 5+ years B2B marketing experience in a campaign manager or marketing manager capacity.
- 5+ years experience managing and developing integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand, pipeline and revenue.
- Knowledge of industry focused marketing in the Public Sector is favourable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and be part of a cross-functional team.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
- Proven track record of managing B2B marketing campaigns throughout the pipeline funnel across web, social, email, as well as in-person events and other activities, and experience of driving quantifiable ROI.
- Strong background in developing and executing segment-focussed marketing campaigns.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to contribute to projects with confidence and rigour across cross functional teams.
Experience/Skills Desired:
- Managing campaigns across multiple regions.
- Past experience in using Salesforce, and/or other marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Strong understanding of demand generation and experience of driving quantifiable ROI.
- Experience in bringing innovation to impact sales and marketing goals.
- Be a highly skilled team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities.
