About the Opportunity:

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead the secure, compliant, high-quality and efficient delivery of Electrical projects across Victoria.

This is a newly created leadership role, responsible for overseeing the field operations and construction delivery across our growing project portfolio. Working closely with our Project Managers, you will take ownership of the “how” of project delivery – determining the right site resources, construction methodology, workforce structure and approach to ensure projects are delivered effectively,

This role will maintain oversight of field performance, productivity and quality. You will build and lead a large group of Site Supervisors, Electricians and trades. You will play a key role in ensuring our teams have the right people, processes and support to deliver successfully, stepping in to coach,



adjust resources or address issues where required to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities:

- Allocate labour across all Victorian projects, ensuring each has the right mix of electricians, leading hands, apprentices, supervisors, casual and labour hire.
- Ensure projects are appropriately resourced to meet programme, budget and delivery requirements.
- Maintain a live view of workforce supply versus project demand and preoactively manage competing priorities.
- Build, strucuture and lead a team of effective Site supervisors.
- Set clear expectations and hold Site Supervisors accountable for the day-to-day performance and delivery of their projects.
- Ensure site works progress in line with Project Manager schedules, identify delays early and implement solutions to recover programme.
- Take ownership of major site issues, providing timely and practical solutions.
- Monitor labour hours, productivity, output and crew performance against project budgets and targets, driving corrective action where required.
- Ensure electrical installations are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 3000, and company quality requirements.
- Partner closely with Project Managers on programme, labour performance, variations, procurement, engineering requirements and major project risks.




- Lead a visible safety culture on every site in support of the group’s zero-LTI objective

What We're Looking For:

- Current A Grade Electrical License
- Previous Industrial Electrical experience
- Demonstrated experience building, developing and leading site supervisors and trades crews at scale
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong construction planning, programme, resourcing and labour-productivity capability
- A positive cultural leader on site who sets the standard for teamwork, respect, accountability and professional behaviour.
- Strong technical credibility and the ability to make decisions on site.
- Highly capable problem solver with the confidence to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accountability, prfoessionalism and safety leadership
