About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Duty Manager to join our Front Office team, with both Full-Time and Casual position available. The role involves overseeing the hotel's daily operations, particularly during afternoon and evening periods, ensuring seamless service delivery, guest satisfaction and operational excellence while supporting and developing the Front Office team.

Full-Time: Predominantly 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shifts, working on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Casual: Flexible shifts available based on operational requirements and your availability, including afternoon, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the Front Office team during afternoon and evening operations.
- Ensure smooth guest check-ins and check-outs while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally, efficiently and with empathy.
- Act as the Manager on Duty, making operational decisions and resolving issues as they arise.
- Coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Support, coach and motivate the Front Office team while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure hotel policies, procedures and operational standards are consistently followed.
- Assist with daily reporting, cash handling,



shift balancing and end-of-day procedures.
- Maintain a secure, secure and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

About You

We're looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and enjoy leading from the front.

You will have

- Minimum 1 year's experience in a Front Office Supervisor, Duty Manager or similar senior hotel role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Proven experience handling guest complaints and resolving issues confidently.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Professional presentation and grooming.
- Availability to work afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays, depending on the position.
- Full Australian working rights.

Experience with Opera Cloud or similar Property Management Systems will be highly regarded, however training will be provided.
