WILGA GROUP is looking for a quality Gardener / Horticulturist to join our growing team, maintaining some of Melbourne’s finest residential gardens.

Our work is predominantly across Toorak, South Yarra, Hawthorn, Brighton and surrounding inner-Melbourne suburbs, with a solid focus on high-end residential properties where presentation, attention to detail and quality workmanship are essential.

We’re not looking for someone who simply wants to mow lawns and move on to the next job. We want someone who takes pride in gardens, understands plants and enjoys leaving every property looking immaculate.

The RoleYou’ll be responsible for the ongoing care and presentation of established residential gardens, including:

- Detailed garden maintenance and presentation
- Pruning, hedging and plant shaping
- Lawn mowing, edging and lawn care
- Weeding, cultivation and garden bed maintenance
- Plant health, fertilising and seasonal care
- Irrigation monitoring and minor repairs
- Planting and garden improvements
- Pest and disease identification
- General garden clean-ups
- Maintaining an exceptionally high standard across every property

The position can be structured from part-time through to full-time for the right person. Who We're Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance
- Passionate about plants and high-quality gardens
- Extremely particular about presentation and finishing
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Able to work independently and as part of a team




- Respectful when working at premium residential properties
- Able to communicate confidently with clients and other team members
- Someone who genuinely takes pride in their work

A Certificate III in Horticulture or similar qualification is highly regarded, although strong practical experience and the right attitude are equally important. A current driver's licence is preferred.
