This trusted Financial Institution is immersed in a product-centric and AI transformation, while re-engineering their financial crime capability in parallel. As such, this is a newly appointed hire to lead the AML/CTF transformation across the organisation.

Working closely with a globally experienced CTO, we are seeking engineering capability, and your ability to influence across the ELT driving a product-centric mandate This engineering leader will be central to the capability uplift and cost optimisation delivery. This is a key hire to deliver engagement across the business to drive a product-centric model that solves a business problem in cost-out and value creation mode. Leveraging the AML transformation into engineering excellence, this requires this hire to turn the AML transformation into a greater internal engineering capability uplift.

Balancing engineering sovereignty and regulatory Hardening (AML/CTF), we are seeking engineering depth with deep fluency in Net Reveal, MI, and Emerging AI. As the data interface, this person would act as the technical anchor,

helping the data team prioritise "AI = Data" initiatives that directly satisfy the CRO’s requirements. Unlike a traditional project manager, this leader will be focused on product design.

Ideally, you will possess the following traits:

- Hands-on Credibility; must be able to delve into the minutiae of mainframe integration while simultaneously architecting the AI-led future.
- Trusted Advisor to the CRO/CISO; must possess the gravitas to reassure the Risk and Security functions that the AML Gap is being closed through code, not just consultants.
- Vendor Command: Someone who views vendors as tools to be managed, not masters to be followed. They focus on reducing software bloat and improving internal engineering capability.
- Combative Resilience: Given the high-pressure environment of CTF/AML findings, they must thrive in a highly pressurised role and be an advocate for the business during regulatory audits.
