Geologists & Field Technicians – RC & Diamond Drilling – Emmaville, NSW (DIDO)

Landforce is currently seeking Geologists and Field Technicians to join our ongoing RC and diamond drilling project based in Emmaville, NSW.

Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field with a well-supported team, with casual positions and potential to transition into ongoing/permanent roles.

Role details:

- DIDO position
- 14/7 roster
- 12-hour days
- RC and diamond drilling program
- Immediate start

Geologist responsibilities include:

- RC chip logging and geological interpretation
- Diamond core logging and geological interpretation
- Supervising drilling activities and sampling quality
- QA/QC processes
- Data entry and record keeping
- Liaising with field teams and drill crews

Geologist requirements:

- Degree in Geology or related field
- Graduate to mid-level candidates considered
- Previous RC and/or diamond drilling experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and data management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a field-based environment

Field Technician responsibilities include:

- Assisting with RC and diamond drilling operations
- Sample collection, handling, processing and dispatch




- Supporting geologists and drill crews
- General field duties and site upkeep
- Accurate data recording
- Assisting with drill rig and site operations as required

Field Technician requirements:

- Current driver’s licence
- White Card
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Previous field, RC or diamond drilling experience highly regarded (not essential)
