Job Description

Join a growing specialist personal injury practice where you'll manage your own workers compensation files, develop your advocacy skills and have genuine access to senior practitioners for mentoring and support.

n

You'll work across a diverse caseload from initial advice through to resolution, with exposure to the Personal Injury Commission, negotiations, conferences and hearings.

n

Day to day you will:

n

n
- Manage a diverse portfolio of NSW workers compensation matters from inception through to resolution
n
- Develop case strategies and provide clear, practical legal advice to clients
n
- Prepare applications, submissions, correspondence, statements and settlement documentation
n
- Represent clients in the Personal Injury Commission and participate in negotiations, conferences and mediations
n
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and empathetic, responsive service
n
- Work closely with experienced practitioners and support staff to achieve strong client outcomes
n
- Manage files efficiently while meeting relevant legislative, procedural and professional requirements
n

About you

- Good knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislation and PIC processes
n
- Experience appearing before the Personal Injury Commission
n
- Solid negotiation, advocacy or dispute resolution experience
n
- The ability to independently manage a caseload while knowing when to seek guidance
n
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine client-focused approach
n
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and file management skills
n
