A modern and successful General Practice in Calamvale is offering an after-hours role for a FRACGP under moratorium, allowing them to bypass section 19AB restrictions. Patient demand is for Saturday, Sunday (day-time) and Week-Day evenings (6:00pm to 9:30pm). There is flexibility for a GP to choose their own days/hours, and work later if they prefer. The medicare provider number will take a few weeks to approve, however it will never expire.
The patient demographic for after-hours is generally: overflow from day-time patients, general walk-ins, professionals who work during the day, people in medical or hospitality or trades with different life schedules, sick children/families and other valued patients and walk-ins that wish to follow.
In addition to after-hours positions, this clinic can offer a day-time rotating locum role, across multiple sites for 6 months at a time, for up to 18 months. This role will work especially well for full-time Doctors with capacity to work a minimum of 4 x full days a week.
Calamvale is an established,
family-orientated suburb located just 20 km south of Brisbane's West End, in close proximity to suburbs like Parkinson, Forest Lake, and Browns Plains. The clinic welcomes a GP who is ready to start practice immediately or within 6 weeks.
