The Opportunity

The Lismore Base Hospital Emergency Department is a comprehensive Level 5 Emergency Department, and is the designated regional Trauma centre for Northern NSW.

The ED provides specialist services in Emergency Medicine and trauma care for all patients, including adults, children and babies, as well as expert emergency consultation and advice to the smaller hospitals within the Local Health District.

Lismore Base Hospital works closely with tertiary hospitals in Queensland, with an onsite rooftop helipad allowing patients to be transferred to and from Lismore Base Hospital via helicopter if required.
