Sunstate Glass is seeking a dedicated Glazier or Glass Worker to join our team in Warana, Queensland. This is a full-time position, with the Sunshine Coast's leading glass company. As a key member of our skilled trades team, you will play an integral role in the installation, repair and maintenance of glass products across commercial and residential properties. With a wide variety of work, no two days are the same.
What you'll be doing
- Measure, cut, fit, and install a variety of glass products including windows, doors, and mirrors
- Perform skilled glazing tasks such as glazing, re-glazing, and glass replacement
- Measure accurately for Showers, splashbacks and mirrors
- Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients throughout projects
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the workshop equipment and vehicles
- Install balustrade systems and pool fencing
- Fabricate and install aluminum frames for commercial projects
What we're looking for
- Prior experience as a Glazier, Glass Worker, Balustrade / Pool fencing installer
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Positive attitude,
strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and develop
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
- A passion for the building and construction industry
