About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Group Financial Accountant to join our Sydney-based Finance & Investments team.

This is a broad group-level role with responsibility for financial reporting, treasury support, liquidity management, cash flow forecasting and consolidation of financial results across the Group. You will work closely with senior leadership and the owners of the business, providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Success in this position requires a confident communicator who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare monthly group financial consolidations and reports




- Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity reporting
- Assist with treasury and funding activities
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and financial analysis
- Support board and executive reporting
- Assist with audits, compliance and financial controls
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes

About you

- CA or CPA qualified
- MUST HAVE experience in a Group Financial Accountant or similar role
- MUST HAVE strong consolidation and group reporting experience
- Exposure to treasury, cash flow forecasting or liquidity management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- MUST BE a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a large, privately owned, entrepreneurial business
- Thrive in a fast-paced, non-corporate environment with a flat structure
