About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Relationship Management to lead and inspire our team of Senior Relationship and Relationship Managers within our Commercial business unit. This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting to the General Manager, Commercial where you will drive client retention, growth and satisfaction across our key managed accounts, while building a high-performing, connected and supported team.

Above all, we need a genuinely strong people leader — someone with proven experience managing and developing teams of 10+ employees, who knows how to bring out the best in their people, foster collaboration, and create a culture where individuals thrive.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop a team of Relationship Managers, ensuring they're trained, supported and set up for success
- Act as a key point of escalation for major client accounts, resolving issues and building lasting trust
- Partner with Operations, Business Development,



Contracts and Tenders teams to deliver tailored client solutions
- Monitor team and individual performance against shared goals, providing regular, constructive feedback
- Manage resourcing, leave planning and recruitment for your team
- Drive account growth, retention and profitability through strategic relationship and contract management
- Travel is required to manage the team and customer base across Australia
- Champion a positive, safe and collaborative workplace culture

About You

- Proven experience leading and managing teams of 10+ employees — this is essential
- Extensive in sales or relationship management within complex service organisations; healthcare experience highly regarded
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- A ‘can do’ attitude who thrives through leading by example
- Ability to work with ambiguity and solve problems on the run
- Strong business acumen, including financial literacy and analytical capability
- A collaborative, adaptable approach with the ability to also work autonomously
- Motivated by developing systems and governance to drive individual and team performance
- Tertiary qualifications in Health or Business (preferred)
- Confidence using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and other business tools
