Chambers Contracting is looking for experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Broome. If you’re a skilled mechanic who enjoys variety, working independently, solving problems and being part of a small, supportive crew, this could be the opportunity for you.
No two days are the same. You’ll work across a diverse range of machinery and industries throughout Broome and the Kimberley, with a mix of field service and workshop-based work.
What You’ll Be Working On
Your role will include servicing, diagnostics, repairs, breakdowns and fault finding across equipment including:
- Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr machinery
- Road trains and heavy transport equipment
- Drill rigs
- Marine engines
- Crushing and processing plant
- A wide variety of heavy diesel equipment across mining, civil and construction
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
- Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic trade qualification
- Current C Class driver’s licence
- Strong diesel, hydraulic and electrical knowledge
- Confidence with diagnostics and fault finding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A practical, safety-focused approach and valuable communication skills
