About the role

ConX Hire is seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Hire Coordinator / All rounder to join our team in Wagga Depot. This is a full-time position based at our Wagga Wagga location. As Hire Coordinator / All rounder, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hire services, supporting both our customers and internal teams. This position is crucial to maintaining our reputation for excellent service delivery and operational excellence within the trades and services sector.

Key responsibilities

- Managing hire enquiries and processing bookings for customers, ensuring accurate and timely information is recorded
- Coordinating equipment availability, maintenance schedules and asset management to ensure optimal fleet utilisation
- Providing customer support and assistance throughout the hire process, from initial enquiry through to completion
- Handling administrative tasks including invoicing, payment processing and documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and databases relating to equipment, customers and transactions
- Assisting with general operational duties across the hire centre as required weather getting equipment ready for hire or deliveries using Ute .
- getting equipment washed and clean for next hire.
- Liaising with customers, field staff and management to resolve any issues or concerns
- Supporting the delivery and collection of hire equipment where necessary
- Contributing to a positive workplace culture and assisting team members where needed

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a customer-facing or administrative role, ideally within the hire, trades or services industry or trade supplies
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- flexibility to work on Saturdays in a roster.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with customers and team members




- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including experience with bookings or management databases
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with willingness to assist with varied duties as required
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service
- Reliability and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in the hire industry or equipment management is highly desirable
