Home Support Officer

- Full-time Permanent Position
- Located in Orange NSW

Uniting Wontama are looking for a vibrant and engaging Home Support Officer for a Full-time role at their facility in Orange. We’re looking for someone who brings personality, compassion and a collaborative mindset for our Aged Care Rostering, Admin & Home Support role. About the opportunity

This role is central to delivering our Household Living approach, supporting residents, families and staff through effective rostering, administrative coordination and collaborative teamwork. Working closely with the management team, you will help create an workplace where residents can live with choice, dignity and independence.

Key responsibilities include

- Performing various administrative tasks with a focus on preparation of rosters, data analysis and report monitoring.
- Build positive relationships with staff to facilitate effective skills distribution and role coverage in line with Household Living Model.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the home and provide administrative support across a wide range of functions, including enquiries, documentation, bookings, communications, purchasing, and records management.
- Communicating well with staff,



residents and other stakeholders clients with varied needs and backgrounds.
- Engaging and building community connections, prompting the services of Uniting
- Facilitating quality, timely and effective communication while maintaining the privacy and confidentiality
- Promoting the rights and privacy of our clients, following relevant policy and legislation
- Working for the continuous improvement of our service to ensure it’s the best it can be, in line with Aged Care Accreditation Standards

About you Typically, this role requires experience in a similar position and knowledge of the Aged Care industry, as well as:

- Certificate 3 in Business Administration, Customer Service or equivalent qualification/experience
- High attention to detail and ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict
- Tech-savvy with documentation and communication with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Great organization and time management skills
- Experience using client/data management systems

Desirable

- Rostering experience
- Experience in aged or community care
