About the Role:

Laurent Bakery is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Analyst to join our Human Resources team.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and insightful HR reporting, supporting complex payroll calculations when required and providing data-driven insights to support business decision-making. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity,



compliance and continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems.

This role is not just about reporting! You will support the HR team more broadly with key deliverables as we support the broader business functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving complex problems and influencing outcomes through meaningful analysis. We are a small team, so the successful candidate will also have the HR knowledge and skills to support the broader HR function and will be involved in recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, learning and development, performance management, fitness for work assessments and general HR admin operational tasks.

Ideally, you will also become our HRIS (Tanda) champion.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting:

- Prepare accurate and timely HR reports, monthly and ad hoc
- Complete complex payroll calculations with a high degree of accuracy, when required
- Analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, insights and opportunities that support business decisions
- Support BOOT analysis and payroll modelling related to operational efficiencies and compliance activities
- Partner with Finance and IT to improve systems, reporting and business processes as they relate to people
- Compile legislative and regulatory reporting, and other compliance requirements e.g. WGEA reporting




- Develop reporting tools, dashboards and automated solutions, while driving process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy and user experience across the HR function

Recruitment

- Undertake recruitment activities for roles assigned by the Head of HR

General HR Admin and Support:

- Act as the first point of contact for manufacturing HR related queries
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Provide administrative support in preparing and updating position descriptions, training programs, procedures
- Ensure HRIS data is updated when requested by employees or any licenses or visas have expired
- Conduct exit interviews when required
- Provide other general HR duties as required to support the broader team

About you:

- Essential: Experience using HRIS system (ideally Tanda) for reporting, data extraction, analysis activities preferred
- Essential: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, modelling and data analysis
- Minimum two years' experience in an analyst role working with HR, workforce or payroll data
- Demonstrated HR experience within a small, hands-on HR team
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data/Analytics or a related discipline would be beneficial
- Strong understanding of Modern Awards
- Experience developing complex reports using multiple data sources and translating data into meaningful insights
- Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or similar reporting and visualisation tools will be highly regarded
- Highly organised with solid attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
