We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse Coach to our Day Surgery Unit at Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Birtinya (SCUH) and Caloundra Health Service.
The Clinical Nurse Coach (CC) leads and delivers person centred care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Registered Nurse Standards for Practice via facilitation of the competence and confidence of clinicians.
The Clinical Nurse Coach (CC) provides clinical education at point of care to Nursing and Midwifery undergraduate students and staff across the health service. The Clinical Nurse Coach (CC), working within the Clinical Coach Framework, actively engages in the development of a learning culture within the clinical unit and models evidence-based practice at an advanced level relevant to the area of specialty.
The Clinical Nurse Coach (CC) has a dual reporting line to Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Educator and reports annually against education indicators.

Key Responsibilities include: * Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing/midwifery care at an advanced level. * Assess, plan, implement and evaluate clinical education at the clinical unit level or point of care. * Adhere to the clinical coach framework and work collaboratively with coaches across the health service. * Facilitate a learning environment by enabling staff to share knowledge and expertise,



support the development of other staff and students and participate in innovation and change strategies to develop responses to address emerging service trends. Remuneration value up to $88 156 p.a, comprising salary rates $57.76 - $61.85 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG6.1) (Permanent Part-time, 48 hours p.f.).
