You will be providing administrative and in-person support to First Nations patients attending Cairns Hospital, helping them access planned care through effective coordination, service linkage and collaboration with healthcare providers and support services. By bringing together clinical and administrative teams, the CCSC delivers culturally responsive care coordination that improves access to care, enhances patient experiences and supports better health outcomes across the Torres and Cape and Cairns and Hinterland regions.
Identified Role: Under Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
