About the role
Bring your expertise in clinical neuropsychology to a diverse and rewarding role within STARS, one of Australia's leading rehabilitation and recovery facilities. Working across inpatient and outpatient services, you will support patients and families with complex neurological, cognitive and rehabilitation needs while helping people achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their recovery journey.
This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled interdisciplinary team, providing advanced neuropsychological assessment, intervention and consultation services across a range of rehabilitation caseloads. You will also play an important role in developing future clinicians through supervision and education, while contributing to service improvement, research and innovation initiatives that enhance patient care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: * Deliver advanced neuropsychology services across a range of rehabilitation settings, applying evidence-based assessment, intervention and clinical reasoning skills to complex presentations. * Provide expert advice and consultation to patients, families, multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders regarding neuropsychological management and care. * Apply high-level problem-solving, clinical judgement and independent decision-making skills when managing complex cognitive, behavioural and neurological presentations. * Provide supervision,
mentoring and education to provisionally registered and less experienced psychologists and neuropsychologists, contributing to workforce capability and professional development. * Lead and contribute to research, quality improvement and service development initiatives that support excellence in neuropsychology practice and patient outcomes.
