The Nurse Practitioner Candidate functions as an integral member of the Specialist Palliative Care Rural Telehealth (SPaRTa) Townsville team, providing advanced and extended nursing practice to patients with life-limiting illness across Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS), Mackay Hospital and Health Service (MHHS), and North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS). Through a predominantly telehealth service model, the role supports patients, families, carers and clinicians in rural and remote communities to deliver timely, equitable and evidence-based specialist palliative care. Requirements: * Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA). * Highly Desirable: Extensive experience in a Palliative Care setting. * Possession of class C drivers' licence. * Travel is a requirement of this role. * This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. * Probation period may apply. * Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening.
