We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction Executive Loss Adjuster to join our team. The position is full-time and based in Milton, Brisbane.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing a portfolio of claims derived from the business attracted into McLarens, whether by your own marketing efforts or those of others
- Interviewing claimants to obtain details required to assess the validity of claims and origin of loss
- Inspecting damaged premises and estimating business losses and cost of repairs
- Reporting the extent of damage, estimated costs and recovery recommendation to the Insurer
- Coordinating with stakeholders to support the repair process
- Providing on the job training,



mentoring and supplementary training when required, for the employees of McLarens group of companies and clients
- Raising the profile of McLarens in Construction insurance markets, regularly interfacing with clients and with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers and Risk Managers
- Preparing and delivering presentations on recent account nominations
- Preparing & delivering presentations at customer and market seminars etc
- Delivering on quality – meeting quality standards and relevant KPIs
- Participating in McLarens group of companies branch meetings and seminars from time to time as directed by the Managing Director, Australia

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in an insurance related field
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in Loss Adjustment, including in senior positions
- Experience in loss investigation, coverage analysis, damage assessment, quantification, insurance claim resolution
- Experience in completing site inspections, cause and coverage analysis, loss quantification, policy interpretation, cost auditing, stakeholder management, subrogation recovery, and settlement negotiations
