Are you ready to make a real difference in people's lives every day?We are seeking two permanent Senior Housing Officer Inspectors to join the Regional Property Inspection Team, with one role based at Buranda and one role based at Fortitude Valley.The Regional Property Inspection Team undertakes property inspections, supports effective asset management, and delivers person-centred services to customers. As a Senior Housing Officer, you will play an important role in helping provide safe, secure and well-maintained homes for Queenslanders in need.In this role, you will be at the centre of the property inspection programme for Housing and Homelessness Services across the Brisbane region. You will undertake inspections, work closely with customers and colleagues to identify property and tenancy issues early and contribute to practical, timely and customer-focused outcomes. You will also provide guidance to Housing Officers, assist in addressing operational issues, and support the team to achieve inspection programme outcomes.This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, works well under pressure, and can adapt quickly when priorities change. No two days are the same. You will need to balance competing demands, make sound decisions in the field, and maintain a robust focus on service delivery, safety and professionalism.This is more than an administrative role. It is a practical,



hands-on opportunity to contribute to high-quality housing outcomes that positively impact individuals, families and communities. Your property knowledge, customer focus and ability to solve problems will help support better outcomes for customers and the department.We are looking for someone who can:- Undertake property inspections across the Brisbane region.- Identify and respond to property and tenancy issues early.- Support effective asset management outcomes.- Deliver person-centred and customer-focused services.- Provide guidance and support to Housing Officers.- Contribute to resolving operational issues.- Work collaboratively in a supportive team environment.- Stay organised, manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances. Important role requirements:- Field work is a regular requirement of this role.
