The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator to support Noumi’s regulatory and compliance framework across our diverse FMCG business.
Working closely with our Senior Legal Counsel & Regulatory Affairs Manager, you’ll coordinate regulatory obligations, maintain compliance records and partner across the business to support food regulatory, labelling and compliance requirements.
This is a great opportunity for someone from a food science, quality or regulatory affairs background looking to broaden their experience within a fast-paced FMCG setting.
- Maintain regulatory obligations, compliance registers and records, ensuring information remains accurate and audit-ready.
- Monitor regulatory and legislative developments and support their implementation across the business.
- Support food regulatory compliance including labelling, allergens, ingredient declarations, nutrition information and product claims.
- Coordinate policies, regulatory documentation, product specifications and compliance reporting.
- Assist with regulatory submissions, audits and information requests.
- Partner across Legal, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D;, Sales and Marketing on regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Support compliance training and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in food regulatory compliance, quality assurance, food science or regulatory affairs, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (FSANZ) and food labelling requirements.
- Familiarity with food safety and quality standards such as HACCP, BRCGS, SQF or GMP.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical and regulatory information.
- Excellent written communication and organisational skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Law, Science or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Please note, this position is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
