Role Description: The Insolvency Intermediate or Senior role will support the delivery of corporate insolvency and restructure engagements, including Small Business Restructures, liquidations, and general advisory work. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial and statutory investigations, preparing statutory reports and correspondence, and assisting with asset realisations and creditor distributions. The role involves regular communication with directors, creditors, legal advisors, and referral networks, as well as maintaining accurate case files and compliance docum entation.
The role offers a succession plan to manager and/or director, with marketing opportinities available to further build your client base.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of insolvency,
restructure, and basic corporate finance principles, with experience in external administrations or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial statement review, data analysis, and attention to detail in documentation.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook) and willingness to learn specialist insolvency or practice management systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, professional correspondence, and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively within a small team environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline; progress toward CA/CPA or similar professional accreditation is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of Australian insolvency legislation and regulatory requirements (or solid willingness to develop expertise) is desirable.
- Demonstrated professional integrity, discretion, and commitment to client-focused, cost-effective solutions.
