Insurance Broker – Supercar

I'm recruiting on behalf of an independently-owned insurance and risk advisory firm speacialising in specialist luxury vehicles and corporate broking.

They're after a Insurance Broker to work under their resident supercar broker and Account Manager, negotiating with underwriters, securing sharper terms, and progressing placements from quote to bound policy. Mostly supercar and private-fleet work, with exposure to commercial and corporate placements, and a real pathway to grow into more complex broking.

What you'll do

Luxury car & private-fleet

- Quote supercar and private-fleet risks through insurer portals
- Review premiums, coverage, excesses, conditions and exclusions
- Negotiate directly with underwriters for better terms — and go back for more when asked
- Handle claims support, endorsements, certificates of currency and insurer follow-up
- Cover overflow enquiries when volumes exceed capacity
- Prepare submissions and negotiate placements on $50,000-plus fee accounts
- Work across Business Package, ISR, Liability, PI, Management Liability, Cyber, Marine Cargo and Plant & Equipment




- Keep insurer correspondence and placement records accurate and current

Who they're looking for

- A genuine love for supercars, non-negotiable
- Enjoys the back-and-forth of negotiation, not just accepting the first quote
- Persistent, commercially minded, solid with underwriter relationships
- Excellent organisation and follow-up
- Comfortable in insurer portals and negotiating outside automated quoting
- Takes direction well, the Account Manager owns the client relationship
- Kind, considerate and committed to doing genuinely good work

Motor, fleet or private client insurance experience is ideal, but attitude counts for a lot here.
