About the role In this role, your day-to-day will be an engaging mix of remote helpdesk support and hands-on on-site visits across clients' locations. You will serve as the primary IT contact for our clients, ensuring their Microsoft 365 environments, network infrastructure, and Windows/Mac endpoints operate seamlessly.
Standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, the nature of IT means work can occasionally extend past 5:00 PM to finalise urgent tasks. Dedicated after-hours project work is primarily scheduled in advance following direct negotiation with the client.
Whether you are deploying a new Ubiquiti network stack, provisioning users in Microsoft 365, diagnosing an internet outage, or conducting on-site maintenance, you will play a vital role in keeping our clients' businesses operational, secure, and productive.
Work Type: Full-Time (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, incorporating an unpaid lunch break) or Part-Time (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 25 hours/week). Salary: $52,275 Base (Full-Time) or $34,391 Base (Part-Time pro-rata) + Superannuation + Fully Serviced Work Vehicle + Mobile. (Note: Base salary is open to upward negotiation following the successful completion of your probationary period).
Key responsibilities
- Deliver Level 1–2 remote helpdesk support alongside prompt on-site technical assistance.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure (NBN connections, commercial & consumer routers, firewalls, and enterprise wireless networks).
- Manage, maintain, and support Windows (10/11) and macOS endpoints in commercial environments.
- Administer Microsoft 365 tenants (user provisioning, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive permissions, and Office suite troubleshooting).
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues.
- Pick up IT equipment from suppliers, perform required system configurations, deploy hardware on-site at customer locations, and manage proper disposal of decommissioned equipment.
- Act as a technical liaison,
consulting and negotiating with third-party vendors on behalf of clients to facilitate support, and directly advising clients on behalf of CCS.
- Maintain accurate ticketing within the CCS Portal and NinjaOne to track work, resolutions, and billable time.
About you
- Strong Networking Expertise: Proven track record deploying and troubleshooting network infrastructure, with hands-on proficiency in Ubiquiti UniFi ecosystems, NBN, wireless access points, and routing setups.

- Autonomy & Time Management: Ability to manage your schedule, balance remote queues with on-site visits, meet service targets, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Client Communication: Fluent in English (both written and spoken), with polished interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally in plain language.
- Professionalism & Inclusivity: A highly presentable professional manner with a strict commitment to respect, tolerance, and inclusivity towards all clients and team members, regardless of heritage,
religion, or background.
- Driver’s Licence: Current, valid Australian Driver Licence (essential for on-site travel).
- Work Rights: Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident).
Desirable
- Experience within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment, including an understanding of the Microsoft 365 environment, utilising ticketing workflows and SLAs.
- Familiarity with our core internal tools, including NinjaOne, N-able Cove, and our custom CCS Portal.
- Practical knowledge of Windows Server environments (including legacy Server 2012/2016 through to up-to-date builds) and Active Directory.
- Configuration and administration experience with VoIP systems (specifically 3CX or Yeastar).
- Solid foundational understanding of PC hardware builds, components, and peripherals.
Benefits
- Competitive Package: $52,275 Base (Full-Time) or $34,391 Base (Part-Time pro-rata) + Superannuation (with room to negotiate upwards after a successful probationary period).
