About the role

Comprehensive Medical Imaging is seeking a Junior Radiographer to join our team in Marrickville, NSW. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to begin your career in medical imaging in a dynamic and professional healthcare environment. You, the Junior Radiographer, will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients and working alongside experienced imaging professionals.

This role is integral to supporting our commitment to providing exceptional patient care and accurate diagnostic outcomes.

What you'll be doing

· Accurately and efficiently performing a range of radiographic examinations.

· Positioning patients safely and accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

· Operating radiographic equipment and maintaining detailed records of imaging procedures

· Strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols and safety standards

· Communicating effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout all medical imaging procedures

· Assisting senior radiographers and radiologists with more complex imaging procedures as required

· Maintaining a clean, safe and organised imaging suite environment

· Contributing to a cooperative team culture and supporting colleagues in delivering excellent patient care

What we're looking for

· Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

· Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and commitment to best practice in radiation protection

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

· Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of work accuracy

· Physical capability to perform the duties of the role,



including standing for extended periods and assisting patients when required

· A compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare delivery

· Willingness to continue professional development
