Role Description The Lawn Care Assistant is a casual, in office role based in Baulkham Hills, NSW. In this position, the team member supports lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, leaf blowing, and basic garden clean-ups. The role involves safe manual handling of equipment and materials, cleaning and maintaining tools, and ensuring work areas are left neat and hazard-free.

The Lawn Care

Assistant may interact with customers on-site, responding politely to questions and communicating any requests to supervisors.



This role is suited to individuals who enjoy outdoor work, can follow instructions, and are comfortable working in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Manual Handling skills and the ability to work safely with lawn care equipment and tools.
- Candidates should possess solid Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to interact respectfully with customers and team members.
- Candidates should possess general Caregiving experience or an understanding of supporting people when working on residential properties.
- Candidates should possess reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
- Basic experience in lawn care, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is beneficial; a willingness to learn on the job is essential.
- Physical fitness sufficient for repetitive outdoor tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Availability to work part-time hours, including occasional weekends, and reliable transport to Baulkham Hills, NSW.
