Raymond’s at Malua Bay is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand / Kitchen Assistant to join our busy kitchen team.

We are open to applicants looking for either full-time or part time work, with hours and days able to be discussed depending on availability and experience.

For someone looking for full-time work, we can offer approximately 40 hours per week across 6 days.

Hours

Our kitchen operates split shifts, with typical shifts being and indicative based on how busy we are:

Lunch: 11am – 2:30pm

Dinner: 5pm – Close

Full-time applicants should be comfortable working split shifts across approximately 6 days per week.

For part-time applicants, we are happy to discuss a regular roster based around your availability. This could include lunch shifts, dinner shifts or a combination of both allowing 2 x roles available for the right canditate.

The Role

This is a hands-on kitchen position and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Preparing food and ingredients for service
- Cutting and preparing vegetables
- Setting up and organising the entrée section before service
- Preparing and plating dishes within your section
- Watching kitchen dockets and ensuring orders are prepared and served correctly




- Serving dishes during busy lunch and dinner services
- Keeping your section organised, stocked and ready throughout service
- Assisting the chefs and other kitchen staff where required
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, benches and work areas
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen
- General kitchen cleaning and end-of-service duties

Previous kitchen experience is preferred, however we are happy to consider someone with the right attitude who is keen to learn and become a long-term member of our team. Position: Full-Time or Part-Time

Location: Raymond’s at Malua Bay, Malua Bay NSW

We are looking for someone dependable who wants to become a regular part of our kitchen team. For the right person, there are plenty of hours available.

Pay: $26.44 – $44.92 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
