Outdoor Solutions Landscape & Civil is seeking an experienced construction professional to join our field team delivering commercial landscape and civil projects across Cairns and Far North Queensland. We have an established pipeline of project work and are looking for someone with solid practical construction capability who can step onto site and contribute from the outset.
Key responsibilities
- Retaining wall construction
- Fencing
- Gabion basket walls and Reno mattresses
- Hard landscape construction
- Earthworks and associated civil works
- Commercial landscape construction
- Excavator and skid steer operation
- Truck and material movements
About you
- Experience across retaining walls, fencing or structural landscape construction
- Civil or commercial construction experience
- Excavator and/or skid steer operation
- Reading plans, levels and construction details
- Working safely around plant and machinery
- MR or HR truck driving
- Working independently and as part of a productive construction crew
- Organising your work and solving practical site problems
- Construction White Card highly regarded
- Certificate III trade qualification or equivalent construction experience highly regarded
- MR or HR driver's licence highly regarded
- Excavator competency/ticket highly regarded
- Skid steer competency/ticket highly regarded
- Relevant plant, machinery and construction tickets highly regarded
- Current driver's licence required
