About This Role

- Help build family violence skills across justice and community services.
- You will design and deliver practical training that supports safer responses.
- You will work across Victoria and help shape workforce capability.
- Your expertise will help workers respond to family violence with confidence.
- Fixed-term (until 30/06/2027), full time role earning $116,413 - $128,631 per year, plus super.

What You Will Do As Learning and Capability Consultant – Family Violence, you will build family violence skills across the department. You will design and deliver training that meets the needs of different workforces.

You Will

- deliver practical MARAM training at foundational, identification and intermediate levels
- create clear learning resources that help people apply key concepts at work
- provide expert advice on family violence, MARAM and information sharing reforms
- use trauma-informed practice to create safe and inclusive learning spaces
- review feedback and update training to support ongoing learning and better practice.

About You You need a relevant tertiary qualification in social work, criminology, psychology or a related field.

Significant professional experience may be accepted instead. A Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment is highly desirable. You also need a current driver's licence and must be able to travel.

You bring strong family violence knowledge and can teach complex topics to adult learners.

You Should Also Have

- strong MARAM knowledge and the ability to deliver practical training that builds lasting skills
- family violence expertise and direct experience with victim survivors and/or perpetrators




- training experience and the ability to create clear resources for different groups
- transparent communication skills and the confidence to handle sensitive topics and questions.
