As an experienced Leading Hand Boilermaker or Rigger at Brown Contracting Solutions, you will play a vital role in the construction, maintenance and modification of fixed mining infrastructure. These full-time positions offer the opportunity to work for a well-established company in the Hunter Valley mining industry where no two days are the same!!
What you'll be doing
- Interpreting drawings and specifications for fabrication, assembly, installation and modification tasks
- Working on a vast range of CHPP & material handling projects
- Collaborating with the team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards
- Taking pride in your work and having a good crack
What we're looking for
- Boilermaker Leading Hand - Trade Certificate, MDG25, EWP, Working at Heights. Confined space, Rigging/Dogging desirable.
- Rigger - Experience in hot works MDG25, EWP and Working at Heights at must. Confined space desirable.
- Experience in Coal Handling Preparation Plants (CHPP) Projects, maintenance, structural Integrity, installation and modifications to structural steel & platework.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- A motivated proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Effective communication skills
