Business Overview Our venue partner, Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach is a luxury five-star hotel located in the heart of Broadbeach on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Part of the internationally recognised Accor group, the hotel combines French-inspired luxury with the relaxed coastal lifestyle of the Gold Coast. The property offers premium accommodation, dining, events and hospitality experiences for leisure and business guests. With a strong focus on exceptional service, guest satisfaction and quality, Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach provides a dynamic environment for hospitality professionals to develop their careers.

They are seeking an experienced Licensed Club Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our licensed venue, with responsibility for delivering outstanding guest experiences while maintaining strong operational, financial and compliance standards.

Location: 81 Surf Parade, Broadbeach, Queensland, 4218 Australia

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 AUD

Key Responsibilities / Duties

- Manage daily club operations to ensure efficient, profitable and high-quality service delivery.
- Lead and develop the team through effective recruitment, training, rostering, coaching and performance management.
- Ensure licensing and regulatory compliance, including liquor licensing, RSA, health and safety, and workplace requirements.
- Drive revenue and profitability by managing budgets, labour costs, stock control, sales initiatives and operational expenses.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by maintaining high standards of service, presentation and hospitality.
- Manage events, promotions and functions to increase venue engagement, revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor performance and implement improvements across operations,



service standards, compliance and team performance.

Skills &

Experience Required

- Proven experience in a Club Manager, Venue Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of licensed venue operations, liquor licensing and RSA requirements.
- Demonstrated experience leading, training and motivating a hospitality team.
- Strong commercial and financial management skills, including budgets, labour costs and revenue targets.
- Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, organisational and decision-making skills with a hands-on approach to operations.
