CDT Sidoli ( Welshpool ) Ltd is a leading manufacturer of premium Luxury desserts supplying high-quality products to customers across the uk and beyond. Due to continued investment and business growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic maintenance engineer to join our established team at our production facility on the Shropshire/Powys border in Welshpool. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful, forward-thinking business where no 2 days are the same.

The Role

As a site Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our production facility and infrastructure maintained to a good standard operating efficiently and safely. You’ll work predominantly on a day shift Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm but part time could be a possibility for the right candidate, your role will be the general upkeep of the building and its services.

What The Job Involves And Preferable Skills

- General Maintenance of site services. Which includes the following
- General woodwork able to hang a door, fit a lock, fit a door closer, fit a window frame etc.
- Able to do small plumbing jobs using copper and stainless pipes with the ability to do solder, compression and crimped joints.
- Ability to maintain central heating systems and perform small pipe mods and fault finding on heating systems.
- Able to undertake small building jobs from time to time which may involve brick work, cementing, slabbing and Tarmac repairs.
- Able to maintain site services,



is willing to undertake training on water testing. Having previous experience of water treatment would be advantageous.
- Be proficient in all plumbing disciplines including drains , toilets and calorifiers to name a few.
- Having previous experience with process valves, for steam control, chilled water control etc would be advantageous but not essential,

About You We are looking for someone who is:

- Qualified to level 2 (minimal) in an engineering discipline.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A solid communicator with a positive “can do “attitude.
- Passionate about engineering and site maintenance.
- Ideally needs to be a general all rounder who can turn their hand to anything.
