SUMMARY/SCOPE/GOAL To effectively supervise a staff to prepare and serve nutritious food in a protected and sanitary setting. Prepare and maintain necessary records and reports to comply with Federal, State, and District requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS CAFTERIA MANAGER I: EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Practical experience in the preparation and service of foods to large groups of people.
- Successful completion of the following courses or equivalent: o Introduction to Brevard School Food Services. o Equipment Use and Care. o Quantity Food Preparation. o Organization and Management. o Nutrition (must be completed within one year of appointment to position).
PREFERRED/DESIRED
- One (1) year of supervisory experience CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING: REQUIRED:
- Valid Florida Driver’s License • Accredited Food Protection Manager Certification (must be completed within one year of appointment to position).
