Time Commitment: Full-Time

Salary Range: $100,000 - $105,000

Organisational Overview:

Mahboba’s Promise is an Australian non-profit organisation dedicated to providing a sustainable future to vulnerable women and children in Afghanistan, surrounding regions, and in Australia.

The organisation has been in operation for 25 years and has been committed to providing hope, and building a prosperous future for marginalised women, children, widows and orphans. In Afghanistan, we have delivered critical humanitarian aid during crises and driven long-term sustainable change through a range of programs including four orphanages across rural provinces in Afghanistan, outreach programs, schools and education programs, healthcare clinics, micro-businesses, agricultural skills building projects and women empowerment initiatives. To date our work has positively impacted over 1.6 million people.

In Australia, the organisation provides settlement support and community development to the growing cohort of refugees and asylum seekers from Afghanistan and surrounding regions in Sydney. The role of Marketing and Communications will play a pivotal role in amplifying our work, growing our digital footprint, and engaging stakeholders to secure financial support and drive fundraising success.
