About the role

HGR Haulage is seeking an experienced MC Licenced Driver to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Based in Prospect, NSW 2148. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering our customers products, maintaining our reputation for a reliable delivery service. The MC driving role utilises refrigerated pantechs, and tautliners. You will be driving a late model prime movers

Key responsibilities

- Operate our vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working order
- Maintain accurate logbooks (EWD) and documentation, including delivery dockets, timesheets, and vehicle maintenance records
- Load and unload cargo safely, securing loads appropriately to prevent damage and ensure road safety
- Adhere to fatigue management regulations and work hour limitations
- Report vehicle defects, maintenance issues, and any incidents promptly to management
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and conduct yourself in accordance with company standards

About you

- Current and valid MC driver's licence appropriate to the role requirements
- Must be able to start early if required. We have work starting at 1am - 6am, and later.



Weekend work is also available
- Minimum 3 years' experience driving B Doubles in Sydney Metro, Regional, and Interstate
- Good driving record
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work with a strong work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report issues accurately
- Be able to pass onsite Drug & Alcohol testing
- Flexible approach to daily allocated tasks. HC work will be required but still paid as MC
- MSIC card a bonus or willingness to obtain one (HGR will pay for it)
