We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to help maintain the reliability and performance of critical plant equipment across one of Australia's largest manufacturing operations.

In this daywork role, you'll contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our plant by carrying out preventative, corrective and improvement-focused maintenance activities. Working closely with production and maintenance teams, you'll play an important role in improving equipment reliability and supporting operational performance.

What you’ll be doing

You'll help maintain and improve critical plant equipment, ensuring secure, reliable and efficient operations across one of Australia's largest manufacturing sites.

- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance strategies to achieve and maintain a high level of safety and equipment reliability
- Assist in the implementation and verification of modifications to equipment, maintenance or operational techniques related to production improvement activities
- Respond to breakdown and failures as required to ensure production capabilities are met
- Commit and adhere to all safety procedures, regulations and standards
- Liaise with production personnel and other work groups to ensure customer agreed expectations are met or exceeded
- Perform maintenance activities in other areas of the plant when required.

You'll bring

- Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
- Current Driver's Licence
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability and quality outcomes




- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, mining, utilities or similar environment
- Flexibility to support shift work when required
- A commitment to continuous improvement and learning

Highly regarded:
- EWP Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Dogging Ticket
- Working at Heights certification
- Confined Space certification
