This is an exciting prospect for new graduate and experienced Medical Radiation Scientists to join the Department of Molecular Imaging at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

About The Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). The Level 2 Medical Radiation Scientist (MRS) is responsible for the provision of quality patient care whilst performing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Department of Molecular Imaging, under the immediate direction of the Senior MRS. This involves the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, patient imaging, collection and analysis of data, quality control and recording data.

Ideal Candidate

- Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) Nuclear Medicine, licenced with the EPA and holds current AHPRA registration.
- Good comprehension of routine diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures including PET-CT imaging and a basic understanding of therapeutic procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multidisciplinary health care environment.
- Ability to ensure their own, co-workers and patient safety by adopting and following safe work practices.
