Northern Health are seeking applications from highly motivated, energetic and suitably experienced Mental Health Clinicians to join the Mernda Community Mental Health team, Division of Mental Health

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our six main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

About the Role

This role requires a skilled and confident team player to provide Receovery oriented care/case management to consumers of Mernda and surronudnng suburbs, in the City of Whittlesea.

With a minimunm of three years experience working in mental health, you will work in a multipdisciplinary team and be qualified in either Nursing (RPN3), Social Work (SW3), Occupational Therapy (OT3) or Psychology (P3).

This role is responsible for coordinating and providing day-to-day evidence-based carecare to consumers; including liaison with families,



carers and other stakeholders and being involved in discipline specific Clinics.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience and good working knowledge of mental health, the challenges for those facing mental health issues and the Mental Health and welbeing Act (2022)
- Proven ability to think critically and work independently and as part of a broader team
- Demonstrated exemplary communciation, bith wirtten and oral
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
