A little bit about you
You're an experienced Microsoft Dynamics developer who enjoys partnering with stakeholders to deliver practical, high-quality CRM solutions that make a real impact. You bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.
You will bring
- Degree qualified in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience delivering multiple Dynamics CRM implementations in a developer or equivalent role
- Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CRM configuration and development ideally with Customer Engagement/Sales solutions, but more broadly to develop customer/client engagement solutions that define technical processes and workflows to support operational process outcomes.
- Experience working closely with product owners and project delivery members in Agile delivery environments
- Experience performing data migration, cleansing and transformation activities
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Enterprise Architecture, AI/Copilot-enabled development, marketing automation and system integration (including Business Central/ERP) will be highly regarded, along with experience in the Not-for-Profit sector
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate across teams, manage competing priorities and deliver structured, practical solutions to complex business challenges
- A positive, customer-focused and outcome-driven professional who takes ownership, is committed to continuous improvement and consistently delivers high-quality outcomes
About the role The Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developer is a hands-on technical delivery role responsible for the design, build, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions across the organisation.
This role will play a key part in delivering a Dynamics CRM solution to support in-need Victorians apply for a No Interest Loan (NILS), often resulting in improved outcomes and stability for the applicants and significant others. This solution will be built on an existing Dynamics CRM solution,
aimed to support the provision of assistance to citizens in need. It's a dynamic and engaging environment, and the role will be working in an Agile, multi-stakeholder and multi-vendor delivery environment.
The role will also have capacity to perform other development and solution enablement roles using the Microsoft tech stack, primarily Dynamics, Power Platform and AI.
The role ensures that
- CRM solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned with Microsoft best practices
- Business needs are translated into effective functional and technical solutions
- Data across CRM and enterprise systems is standardised, consistent, and integrated
- Delivery is achieved through iterative engagement with product owners and stakeholders
- Complementary solutions developed in Logic Apps or Power Platform are robust and meet stakeholder needs
This role contributes to solution design, delivery outcomes, and platform evolution, in partnership with internal teams and external specialists. The role is a 12-month fixed term contract, the initial focus being to deliver the NILS CRM scope. However as stated above, it is planned that this role will also have capacity to develop and deliver other IT solutions and services that contribute to organisation strategy and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, implement and enhance Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions, including the NILS CRM solution, so they are fit-for-purpose, scalable and aligned with Microsoft best practice
- Translate business needs into effective functional and technical solutions in iterative engagement with product owners and stakeholders across an Agile, multi-stakeholder and multi-vendor delivery environment
- Standardise, consolidate and integrate data across CRM and enterprise systems to ensure consistency
- Develop robust complementary solutions using Logic Apps and Microsoft Power Platform that meet stakeholder needs
- Contribute to solution design, delivery outcomes and platform evolution in partnership with internal teams and external specialists
- Take on other development and solution enablement work across the Microsoft tech stack, primarily Dynamics, Power Platform and AI,
as capacity allows beyond the initial NILS CRM scope
