We’re Hiring | Methods OfficerCastings Tasmania is looking for a Methods Officer to join our Technical Team in Youngtown, Tasmania.
This is a hands-on technical role working closely with our production, quality, patternmaking and finishing teams to develop and improve the methods used to manufacture our castings.
The role will involve
? Casting methods development
? Gating, runner and riser system design
? First article and sample casting trials
? Casting weight calculations and cost estimation
? Casting defect and reject analysis
? Technical documentation and process improvement
We’re looking for someone with a background in engineering, foundry operations or casting/manufacturing who enjoys technical problem-solving and seeing their work applied directly in a production environment.
Relevant engineering qualifications are highly regarded; however, technical qualifications combined with substantial industry experience will also be considered.
