Why this role matters
You’ll be part of the Mobile Banking Team within the First Party Lending Channel, helping to grow and retain member relationships, promote TMBL products and deliver an efficient end-to-end home loan experience. You’ll connect with existing and prospective members through video, phone and face-to-face conversations, as well as workplace visits, partner activities and industry events.

What you’ll do
- Manage home loan applications accurately and efficiently, from the initial member conversation through to approval notification.
- Identify lending opportunities through existing member relationships, community connections, workplace visits and other business development activity.
- Meet members through video, phone and face-to-face appointments, providing clear and accurate information about suitable products and services.
- Build effective relationships with members, prospective members, internal teams and external partners.
- Represent TMBL at functions and industry events, helping develop new business opportunities and strengthen its community profile.
- Achieve agreed sales and service expectations while meeting legislative, responsible banking, risk and compliance requirements.
What you’ll bring
Essential
- At least 12 months’ direct home loan sales experience.
- A relevant qualification at Certificate IV level or above, such as finance or mortgage lending.
- Financial Services Reform Tier 2 accreditation.
- Experience interpreting loan applications, financial information and supporting home loan documentation.
- Robust organisation, time management, relationship-building and influencing skills.
- An unrestricted driver’s licence and the ability to work independently across a mobile role.
- A sound understanding of relevant legislation and compliance obligations.
Nice to have
- Five years’ broader sales experience.
- Knowledge of TMBL products and services, or relevant sales and service experience in a similar environment.
- Confidence presenting banking products, services and values to groups of different sizes.
- Experience helping newer lenders develop their skills through observation, guidance or knowledge sharing.
