An established and growing property and construction business is expanding its finance capability and is seeking an experienced Mortgage Broker to join the team.

This is an opportunity to work across a strong pipeline of property-related lending opportunities, with a combination of warm leads, existing relationships and your own business development. You’ll have the support of an established business while taking ownership of the end-to-end client and lending process.

The Role

You’ll manage clients from initial enquiry through to settlement, providing tailored lending solutions and building long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manage the full mortgage broking process from initial discovery through to settlement
- Assess client objectives, financial position and borrowing capacity
- Structure and recommend appropriate lending solutions
- Manage applications, approvals, conditions and settlements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and non-bank lenders
- Work closely with accountants, solicitors, valuers, buyer’s agents and other stakeholders
- Maintain a strong and organised sales pipeline
- Identify refinancing, repricing and revaluation opportunities with existing clients
- Convert qualified leads into settled loans
- Develop additional business through personal networks, referrals and business development
- Ensure all recommendations and submissions meet regulatory and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate, complete and audit-ready client files





About You We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, relationship-focused and confident managing clients through the lending process.

You will ideally have:

- 2–3+ years’ experience across mortgage broking, banking, finance, real estate or a related sector
- Strong understanding of property and lending markets
- Excellent serviceability, analytical and numerical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
- A proactive approach to business development
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- The ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines independently
- A genuine interest in property and finance
- A Diploma in Mortgage Broking or willingness to obtain this within the first three months
