We’re rolling into onion harvest season and on the lookout for a few legendary locals to join the crew! If you’re a tractor driver, this is your time to shine in the sun (literally).

Kalfresh is an innovative, fast-growing Queensland horticulture company, focused on farming, processing and marketing fresh conventional and certified organic vegetables across Australia and select markets. We’re a diverse, skilled team united by our passion for fresh, healthy nutrient-rich produce. We are creating a better farming future for our people, community, customers and the environment.

Our fields stretch from Kalbar to Clintonvale and Gatton, and we’re rounding up harvest heroes to dig into a golden onion harvest from October 2026 to January 2027.

Tractor Operators – Take the Wheel!

Got tractor skills? We’ve got three seats to fill – Join the harvest crew for our season ahead! Reporting to the Onion Harvest Manager, you will be required to operate tractors in our onion harvest operations. This chance will allow you to work and become a valued member of the harvest team while enjoying your time in the great outdoors.

What you’ll do:

· Jump behind the wheel of modern tractors to bring in the onion haul.

· Operate machinery with safety and smoothly across our scenic farms.

· Show us your reliability and proficiency with our schedule and operation.

· Adhere to farm policies and standard operating procedures.

· Reach optimal harvest team KPI targets.

· Ensure required standards of hygiene are being met.

· Work as part of a top-notch team under the open sky.

We’re looking for:





This role would suit those who are passionate about fresh produce, continuous improvement, and being a part of a diverse team environment who are energised about what we do and where we’re heading.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· Experience operating a tractor including forklift tractor in a field environment.

· Ability to travel independently between farming sites.

· Adaptability to varied work hours if required.

· Ability to demonstrate high level of safety awareness.

· The ability to work under pressure in a high volume and fast paced environment.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights.

· Forklift licence preferred, but not essential

· Bonus points if you’ve operated other farm machinery too!

Season: October 2026 – January 2027

Three agriculturally minded tractor drivers.

These casual positions are based between our South-East Queensland farming sites inclusive of Kalbar, Clintonvale and Gatton, so would ideally suit someone who lives locally or willing to travel between these beautiful regions.
