About the Role We're looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team across Brisbane East, Bayside and the Redlands.
Depending on where you're based, your caseload could include areas such as Cleveland, Thornlands, Redland Bay, Victoria Point, Capalaba, Alexandra Hills, Wellington Point, Birkdale, Wynnum, Manly and surrounding suburbs.
While our broader service area covers Brisbane's eastern and bayside communities, you won't be expected to travel across the entire region. Wherever possible, we'll build your caseload around where you live, helping keep travel practical and giving you greater flexibility over your working week.
You'll work across a flexible mix of home, school, community and telehealth settings, supporting NDIS participants to build independence and work towards meaningful everyday goals.
Shape Your OT Caseload Depending on your experience, interests and local service needs, your caseload can include a mix of participants across the lifespan, and a broad range of Occupational Therapy supports.
Your work may include functional assessments, capacity building, sensory and emotional regulation, Assistive Technology, home modifications and ongoing therapy.
We welcome OTs at different stages of their career - whether you're looking to consolidate your skills, broaden your clinical experience or bring established expertise to the team.
You'll also have access to Avina's wider OT and multidisciplinary network,
with structured clinical supervision, peer collaboration, Communities of Practice and ongoing professional development.

- Deliver functional, person-centred Occupational Therapy
- Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
- Support participants to increase independence and achieve meaningful goals
- Work flexibly across home, school, community and telehealth settings
- Collaborate with families, carers, educators and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Manage your caseload and schedule with genuine flexibility
- Participate in supervision, peer learning and professional development

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration or eligibility
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A collaborative and person-centred approach to therapy
- Confidence working independently while staying connected with your wider team
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community work
