About The Role We are seeking a highly organised and proactive professional to join our Planning and Operations team within Future Students and Marketing, and partner with leaders, cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure the seamless delivery of initiatives, processes, campaigns and projects. As the Operations Coordinator, you will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Future Students and Marketing program of work, managing project intakes, coordinating timelines and resources, maintaining delivery visibility, tracking risks, issues and dependencies and supporting regular planning and prioritisation forums.
This is a highly collaborative role where you will help embed consistent ways of working, improve transparency of workflow and support timely, high-quality delivery. We are looking for a proactive operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across teams, building strong stakeholder relationships and finding smarter ways of working.
About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and supporting the prioritisation of work efforts, team backlogs and defining periodical scopes of work for departments and teams.
- Demonstrated experience working in a production role – and achieving successful outcomes for a large and complex organisation, including stakeholder and vendor management.
- Demonstrated experience in building credibility and high levels of trust with the ability to communicate, liaise and work with colleagues, staff, suppliers, and stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external to the University with tact maturity, and appreciation of sensitive issues.
- Demonstrated experience in using data and technology to inform decision making and improve the process and performance of business activity.
- Well-developed and structured approach to problem analysis, including identifying key issues, evaluating and proposing potential solutions, and implementing effective strategies.
- Highly proficient computer skills,
in particular MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Miro, JIRA and Confluence.
Qualifications
- A degree in marketing, business, arts, media or communications with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- 2-4 years of experience in an Agile working environment is preferred.
