Camden's Promise Charter School is seeking a talented Graphic Artist to join our creative team. As a Graphic Artist, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs and artwork that effectively communicate our brand message. You will collaborate with our marketing and design teams to develop engaging graphics for various platforms and mediums.
Must have: NJ Teaching Certification
Bachelor's Degree or Higher
Duties:
- Create visually stunning designs and artwork for print and digital media
- Develop graphics for marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and advertisements
- Design logos, icons, and other visual elements that align with our brand identity
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling social media graphics and website visuals
- Utilize typesetting, CSS, and color management techniques to ensure high-quality output
- Incorporate motion graphics into video projects to enhance visual storytelling
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design
- Assist with content management systems to update and maintain website graphics
- Provide art direction and guidance to other team members when necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Artist or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects
- Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of web design principles and best practices
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Robust communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
